Gospel Artist Kevin Bahati has been a luke worm in the music industry as his moves can't be predicted anymore. This is because at one time he is releasing a gospel hit while in the next he does a secular one.

This can be witnessed by the moment he allegedly ditched the gospel industry although after producing some secular hits he reverted to the gospel industry with 'Naanza Tena' hit.
The behaviour by gospel artist Kevin Bahati and other artists has prompted the Kenya Films and Licensing Board(KFCB) to send soft warnings to the artists over their mandate in the society.
In message by the KFCB boss, Ezekiel Mutua has warned that Christian artists should get out of their comfort zones. This is to aid them to stop trying to look cool or going with what's trendy at the expense of cultural and moral values.
"Christian artistes should get out of their comfort zones and stop trying to look cool or going with what's trendy at the expense of cultural and moral values." Ezekiel Mutua stated.
He added that the society needs more clean content creators, artistes, influencers, executives and leaders of integrity to act as role models for our children and also for aspiring artists.
Further he urged that content creators and the media must understand that content does not have to be dirty in order to sell or entertain. We need content that inspires hope and not discouragement.
