Raila used his Cultic Hold on the minds of Luos, to mislead about 200 Luo Servicemen in the Airforce.
The Servicemen told him that they could not match the firepower of the Kenya Army... But Raila LIED to them. They knew that Raila was a Tanzanian Citizen, and in 1979, Tanzania had just liberated Uganda and kicked out Amin. So, Raila LIED to them that immediately they trigger the Coup, 10,000 Tanzanian Military Officers would come and help them.
This is what led to the biggest ever massacre in Kenyan history.
I remember the day, very clearly.
Things were cool until 11 am. My Elder Brother Willis, was with the Nairobi University gang and were celebrating all over Town, expecting Tanzanian Soldiers to pour in. Meanwhile, they were looting and drinking like crazy.
The Gilgil Elite Unit came via Westlands. They were disguised in those military leaves that cover their vehicles. My Bro said that they they thought that the Tanzanian Military had arrived, and joined them in celebration... And then Hell Broke Loose!!! Massacre.. He survived because he pretended to be dead and was splattered by blood and body parts. He was taken to the mortuary as a dead person, and only waited the army guys to leave before sneaking out.
We lived near the KBC Headquarters around Museum Hill, and the extreme violent takeover around midday traumatized us for several years. We were in the middle of the battle.
Yes, that is how the August 1982 affected families. Hundreds of University Students died. They were misled into believing that Raila had a plan B..... But there was non. The same thing happened happened in 2017 and 2018. When the same line of "help from Tanzania" was used. The Cultic Hold of the brains of his followers made them believe that "servers" were hidden in Tanzania, and after swearing in as People's President, something would happen. But there was no Plan B....
