George Nthenge is dead

Today the country has been thrown in mourning following the death of Hon George Gregory Nthenge. Hon George Gregory Nthenge was a former member of parliament and former minister in Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and president Daniel Arap Moi administrations. George Gregory Nthenge succumbed to Covid-19 pandemic and died at the age of 94.

His death was made public by Machakos county governor Dr Alfred Mutua who eulogized him as brilliant and visionary leader. Governor Alfred Mutua also said Hon George Gregory Nthenge was one of the greatest leader of Kenya.
