From the current events, it shows Gen Z have done the unthinkable by creating an united front against the sitting government
One contributing factor to this is Majority of Gen Z don't speak their mother tongue fluently.
The previous generations like the Millennials and Gen X passed the narrative from one generation to the next generation that if the sitting government comes from your tribe or associates with them you should support it automatically and If the opposition is your tribe, you should do the same.
Kenyan Political History has shown Kikuyus and the GEMA always support the government and Luos are in the opposition
This type of cult tribal support has led to demi god political leaders like the likes of Moi, Kibaki, Raila, Ruto, etc
Political leaders have perfected ways to divide the citizens against tribal lines from one elections to the next.
Even the current parliament is dominated by the previous generations. The way they even voted clearly showed leaders from tribes associated with the government voted yes but the leaders of tribes associated with opposition voted no
This interesting change of status quo has united every Kenyan against one enemy, the sitting government without any association of any leader from the official opposition
I believe if this continues, we may finally have a luo elected member from Nyeri or a Kikuyu elected member from Kisumu.
Interesting times ahead. Let me enjoy what is happening
