This was posted on Mazda Owner's Club where this ex-japan Axela being delivered and driven from Mombasa had an engine seizure midway at Salama.

The reason was that the oil hadn't probably been changed for a long time thus it literally solidified.

Hopefully, it can be restored. Kuna jamaa kwa comments alisema Noah iliwahi fanya hivyo and the delivery driver akaiwacha na kuhepa. Full service ni important sana for these 2nd hand autos.

Axela 2014 at 800k is a lie, a big one .
Lets assume its a January 2014 model ,payable duty will be Ksh 442,215 + 45,000 (clearing and registration)
This will results to C&F at Ksh 312,785 and you have not factored in his margin, its impossible ,hata demio ya 2014 huwezi at that .

Where possible for an import enda ujichukulie from Mombasa .Its also good to have some basic information about the vehicle . Some silly fellows wanakuuzia air filter ya harrier and force the filter and it leads to the airbox clips breaking .

Holy Mary!! Its full of sludge :eek:. Hio haijaona oil change for a really long time. Even if the owner had changed the oil before driving to Nairobi, this would still have happened. It was just a matter of time.
 
Noma sana.. Jana on msa road just after Mtito i found some guys whose Subaru exiga had stalled.

The dashboard lights were showing but when you try ignition only a cracking sound from the cover just around the alternator... Gari iko na chloride n70 so we ruled out batter issues, but even dere said he saw Christmas lights before car switchd off...

Another vw toureg, same issue, but that one i saw a police Landcruiser trying to tow him away.

Hehehe Noah hapa use 2 years and dispose to someone from upcountry, coz no one will buy a locally used noah... Its a work hose but limited life..
