Wednesday arraigned in court over the allegations of raping a suspect in his office.

According to a police report, Njeru assaulted the woman on the night of May 31 at his office.



The suspect had been arrested over the accusation of obtaining money by false pretence from one Stephen Gathiru and was booked at the Manyatta police station.

She was however released from custody on free bond and was required to report to the Embu DCI officer the following day.

It was during her appearance before the DCI boss that the suspect claims she was sexually assaulted.

She managed to escape, according to reports, and reported the matter to the Manyatta police station.

SHE WAS SEXUALLY ABUSED BY THE S.C.C.I.O C.I JERVASIO NJERU.THE COMPLAINANT WAS EARLIER REPORTED VIDE OB 20/27/05/2020 BY ONE NAMELY STEPHEN GATHURI GAKARU WITH AN ALLEGATION OF OBTAINING MONEY BY FALSE PRETENCES.SHE WAS ARRESTED AND PLACED IN CELLS VIDE OB 17 /30/05/2020 AND WAS RELEASED VIDE MY OB 21/31/05/2020 ON A FREE BOND TO APPEAR BEFORE THE D.C.I ON 2/6/2020.SHE MANAGED TO ESCAPE AFTER THE ACT AND REPORTED AT MANYATTA POLICE STATION.THE S.C.P.C WAS INFORMED AND ORDERED THE NECESSARY ACTION TO BE TAKEN AGAINST THE ACCUSED OFFICER. THE COMPLAINANT WAS ESCORTED TO EMBU LEVEL 5 HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT.S.O.C. THE SCENCE WAS DOCUMENTED BY THE SCENES OF CRIME PERSONNEL. C.C.I.O EMBU DEALING. CASE. P.U.I.
