Ruto has taken us back by some 30 years. That would make Matiang'i seem extremely appealing no matter what accusations he might be facing. Ruto's presidency was an overly ambitious experiment by Kenyans. They mistook a hardened criminal for a saint. Citizens are now yearning for a normal bad government that can implemented as soon as possible. They want immediate relief from the pain - everything else can wait.
