The Grand Vitara is the Escudo, no?

Very pleasant looking car, atleast for the models produced before 2014, very capable 4WD with enviable longevity, never understood why Kenyans don't like it

How’s the price these days , it used to be priced on the higher end back then. Most Kenyans go for status look cars and Suzuki didn’t look lavish enough for them .
The current generation doesn’t is more flexible to buying cars .
Quick look shows brand new version starting at 4.48 mill.

Hii Direct Injection ndio bado shida inasumbua the Mitsubishi Pajero IO na Galant. Unapata a very clean model going for 300k simply because no one wants the problem of dealing with that engine and its electronics.

Yes this one. Ya boma is the 1999 to 2003 model, just before this one in the photo. 2.5l v6 auto, a dream on the highways. I just need to treat it for cabin noise and it is set for life.

This model in the photo comes with the 2.7l v6 VVT (toyota copied the 2GR/3GR/4GR from these Suzuki H v6s). I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Parts are never a problem, it's always the mechanics. Uzuri ni these cars are bullet proof, ukiendea the ones with J20b and J24b engines ni timing belt tu ndio utaangalia frequently. Other than that, bullet proof.

Of course it lost out to Toyota mentality (rav 4 and vanguard) but getting someone to sell you their Suzuki is an exercise in futility. You'll only ever meet them in bank or salvage auctions.

The reputation for never dying doesn't allow the prices to fall below 800k lowest for locally used units. Fresh imports range from 2.4m to 4m
