So the self proclaimed Jubilee guardian @mkurugenzi posts on the thread by @Meria that Ruto led to the killing of a thousand Okuyos in Rift Valley in 2007 due to huu excessive oestrogen that can't grapple facts.

I call out his BS and tell him that indeed even Rao wasn't gentleman enough to stop the violence and his campaigns had actually led to such unfortunate events.

@admin then deletes my post and I just don't get it. If someone spews nonsense here, they need to be called out.

In 2007 I was working in RV (north rift) and I had to hide in the bush for 2 weeks as the marauding warriors were searching for "madoadoa" and finishing them off. We only emerged from the bush after kibaki sent the Kenya Army to rescue people. So I know first hand about what was happening on the ground. The election dispute was just a convenient cover to commit the atrocities. And FYI you can read the Akiwumi report regarding 1992 chaos, and the Waki report regarding 2007 chaos, to know the genesis and chronology of atrocities in the RV.

Educate yourself on violence in the rift valley and also the coastal areas since early 90's. You presenting a simplistic, emotional argument devoid of facts.

I get where you're coming on and my relatives who suffered the most in 07 had suffered in 92, 97 and ultimately in 2007.

If I'm emotional, then let it be so. But I can't stand someone using the leverage of 3,000 lives lost of Kenyan civilians to push a political narrative.

Jana I said I will probably not support Ruto due to the corrupt nature of him and his allies but that doesn't mean that Raila is a Saint to me.

Let's reason and allow the past to teach us on steps we ought to take in the future.

No. You still dont make sense.

It was Ruto who called us madoadoa in the Rift Valley. It was a systematic violence that had been perpetrated against the so called "foreigners" since 90s. It was a coincedence that Raila was with Ruto in 2007. Why do you think Raila carries more responsibility for that violence?
