Chinese OBD scanners

I would love to get myself an OBD scanner for small time use in DIY codes retrieval from my cars, those of my associates and their associates as a fee. I have done my research and found that there are Bluetooth adaptors, portable ones which cost upwards from 60$ and real high end ones which go for thousands of dollars.

Like I said, I do not wish to go for high end ones. Let's face it, it is unlikely that I will make anything out of the purchase. My oldest, a year 2007 model has never required diagnosis since I imported it. So basically DIY with a broad compatibility.

I have narrowed down on Konnwei a Chinese manufacturer who seem to have made head way in the states. Many videos made on their devices. Specifically looking at the KW850 device. See the image.

My question to those who have used it here: Is it compatible with Japan motis like Toyotas, Nissans, Mazda's? (Different standards exist in the US and Japan)

What are your experiences with them? Help a brother.

I don't mean to be trivial on this, but if those numerous videos did not give you that answer, ulikua unaangalia tu picha.

All work for cars imported into the US. May not work for JDM cars. Well, I could not find any videos done on cars in Japan.

Get it now?
