“If Germany were to take a decision that leads to Huawei’s exclusion from the German market, there will be consequences,” Ambassador Wu Ken said Saturday at a Handelsblatt event. “The Chinese government will not stand idly by.”

“Could we say one day that these German cars are no longer safe because we’re in a position to manufacture our own cars?” he said in a video on the newspaper’s website. “No. That is pure protectionism.”

No prices for guessing which country is the biggest market for these guys;

This will be interesting, China banned an arsenal game just because one of the arsenal players said something the government did not like, the west will mess themselves if they allow China to be the superpower they will look back at the days when America was top with glee, China will nyorosha the west proper.

For much of recorded history, up to 75% of it, CHINA WAS THE DOMINANT ECONOMIC POWER in the world. Chinese ships were visiting Lamu 600 YEARS BEFORE VASCO DA GAMA.

Did the Chinese enslave, colonise and rampage? NO. The Chinese model of civilisational interaction is totally opposite the Western model of conquest and domination.

If only you bonobos read history from the days of Caesar you would understand why Kenya, and Africa, are better off dealing with the Chinese........

The whole world decided in its laziness to outsource to China, and China worked really hard to get to where it is.

It's funny to see Drumpf and Europeans panicking and trying protectionism and sabotage, yet they're most likely to suffer the most in an all out trade war. The Chinese now have formidable purchasing power as well as massive internal markets.

bonobos are just observers, we've literally nothing to offer ,the other day Kenya tried to reduce import of mitumbas we were threatened and we bow our backside for more shafting.

In the 19th century, the west screwed China proper when it was weak. Research on how Britain grabbed Hong Kong and the boxer rebellion when several European states together with America humiliated China when it was still weak. I guess that's why the nation hates western interference and domination.

I thought its the west that saved china from japan, the latter were very ruthless with china. I could be wrong though.

The West also screwed China very bad during the Qing dynasty. They made the country weaker and Japan just found it easier to cause more damage.
