I marvel at guys who blame Kibaki and PNU solely for the violence in 2007, as if ODM didn't spend a whole billion on propaganda and openly painted the agikuyu as thieves while promising to kick all of them back to central, how else was Kibaki supposed to respond?? Hand Raila power to embark on a state-sponsored ethnic cleansing and disenfranchisement spree??

ODM supporters are the most hypocritical bunch you will ever meet

This is why some times I resort to silly insults - it's so exasperating when people can't appreciate simple facts due to their prejudices and tribal bias. We may not agree, but I expect people to display a bit of faithfulness and fidelity to the truth.

You have seen me argue with Fala above. Kibaki was actually sworn in between 5.30-7pm, what is called early evening, NOT night. That's a world of difference. And the reason was simple - ODMorons had already started a civil war, and the country needed a C-in-C. The security services required that to act.

You have touched on the sensitive issue of the planned genocide against the Gikuyus. One day I will write about this, including the day we saw brutal evidence from the phone of the son of a top Kalenjin politician who later died in a plane crash which he dropped in a drunken stupor at a bar in Langata. As we drank with them in the city, they were sending money via Mpesa with explicit messages to warriors to kill. The instructions were chilling and specific.

Was Kibaki supposed to sit back and see this happen? was Uhuru supposed to fold his hands as his people were butchered like chickens?

Perhaps we need to let these demons lie.
