Apparently owned by the Kenya College of Insurance, the massive and yet-to-be-officially-opened structure is said to be a fully pledged hotel, convention centre, having a health club among other hospitality essentials.

Anyone who uses the Southern Bypass must have appreciated the sight of it.

But why does it resemble a ship? Apparently, the inspiration is the promotion of insurance of ships & other Assets such as buildings. The architect had the central theme of the insurance industry in mind, INSURANCE.

But, also maybe, just maybe with all the flooding that happens in South Sea (C), The Leadership Centre, as it has been christened will float like the Ark when that occurs.

Not being a hater but Niko na kiuliso , what is the KCI core business ? Hotel ama insurance
I have noted a few organisations wame invest in things that don't relate to their core business and it's coming back to bite them properly.
Boma Hotel - KRC
Uni Mall - Kenyatta University
Lake Basin Mall - LBDA

Ni vile tu wameambiwa funding inapunguzwa so wanafaa wafanye revenue-generating stuff and for some reason, various forms of real estate and hospitality ndio default setting, think of UON Towers as well.
Ni kama kuna uoga ya kufikiria. One I have seen make good use of available is Kenya Utalii College which huwa haikosi all manner of events and conferences in their expansive grounds and the existing hotel.

Have invested heavily in hospitality sector a d first class private college in hospitality training

Hapa napo waligonga ndipo. Though hao students kuvaa uniform zinakaa high school ndio sielewi. Also, the Red Court 3* Hotel is theirs sharing a fence with Boma (5*) for a 1/3 of the accommodation price ha!
