Advice about Libraries and used/new books

I'm trying to build a reading culture for myself and family. I want to know about public and private libraries in Nairobi and their costs. I would also like to know about how one can buy both new and used books to build a private library. There were times when I used to visit the UON bookshop and find Eastern Economic Edition(EEE) textbooks targeted at Indian subcontinent yet available.

How is this market? I have a few classicals that I want to collect:

Try textbook centre...kama ni second hand, there are plenty of sellers in the Nairobi streets who sell second hand books or uou can get them from ebay

Macmillan library in CBD most interesting library I've seen in Kenya especially huko underground. It's a public library and in most cases you can't take most of their books and getting them anywhere else is next to impossible
