The day before yesterday at the same place a matatu overlapping swerved into my lane to avoid an oncoming canter, I had to brake to avoid rear ending him, just after 200 meters he moved to the road shoulder to either pick or allow a passenger,.

I shook my head and wondered, why drive like a mad man yet you are picking/dropping off passengers?
