My point was, as long as the percentage of people who are non-Christian in your scenario is larger, if they donate, they should be able to provide a lot more. In that scenario, the issue isnt that christians arent doing their part, its a failure of the bigger percentage.

The failure of your example is that you could easily argue tbe remaining 90% of that population giving 500/- monthly would still generate vastly more and get more done. Edit: take the percentage down to 50% to remove kids and unemplyed
