We just need to stop exporting raw materials and Importing goods which exist a great local alternative. How can the textile industry grow if we import most of our clothes from china?

We could do what all the other BRIC + Western nations did Before us. Because the minerals would have to be processed locally, that would mean more factories + weaker regulations and rock bottom wages a robust sprout of new industries and other supporting businesses (contractors, suppliers etc)...
