People are still rearing rabbits, chicken, goats, growing vegetables and other crops in Kenya. Don't act like a blind pessimistic person who only listens to negative news and believes that everything is coming from our neighboring countries. Watu bado wanalima na kuunda pesa. Kaa Tu hapo
The point you are missing is the cost of production. I keep chickens and pigs. The cost of feeds are always very high. Currently, broilers are being sold at 350-400 , market iko chini as everyone has them but the cost of feeds iko juu kabisaa.

Have you ever considered processing your own feeds from cheaper materials? That's what I am currently doing and making good profit from kuroiler chicken. Siwezi nunua chakula ya duka

you assume that everyone has land for that, everyone can afford to build the structures and that everyone has money for buying the rabbits.

Also, you assume that there will be a ready-made market for your rabbit meat and that anyone can afford to pay for the licences and permits needed to trade.

you really need lessons in economics
There's market, if you see a person doing 1000 rats aka rabbits, not 500 know there's a market. This pandemic has given youth a chance to taste Agriculture, me included. Land for farming is not a necessity, esp for such projects but its a bonus. Market for meat products hujileta tu. Same applies to eggs
