One of Kibaki’s enduring legacies is that he knew and understood how to deal with his shamed and disgraced friends.

It is said that if someone in his Government was adversely mentioned over corruption or criminality, he would quietly summon them and ask them to resign. If they were later cleared off of wrongdoing, he would give them a back-room job away from the public gaze.
This, by the way, is the best practice adopted by advanced Economies.

Kenya Kwisha’s move to give Maribe a lofty State job where she will be the face and voice of the Government is in very poor taste, and very ill advised.
This is someone who has just escaped the hangman’s noose simply by some technicality for a vicious murder.
It should also not be forgotten that Maribe has never publicly denounced her partner-in-crime who has been made to carry the can.

Why would anyone choose such a divisive character for such a visible role?
How will the Victim’s family, friends and community think each and every time Maribe appears on TV and Podiums with the Notables?
Even if this Government feels so powerful and confident, why rub our noses with “mta do nini”? attitude?

Well said. If she had any shred of decency and consideration, she would politely decline this offer of promotion.

Don’t these people have a sense of reflection and contemplation to know that there is a family and segment of people mourning and hurting to see a potential murderer being honoured and mollycoddled.

You need to ask for your school fees back if you think or hold the idea that the Ksh is strengthening.

Kenyatta left the Ksh at 90s a piece to the US Dollar and Ksh 118 to British Sterling Pound.
Today the US Dollar is Ksh 140 and Ksh 180 to British Pound respectively.

Would you want to revise your wrong views and assertions on the light of this new information?

No I would not, there's been acres written on this subject, however I meant that there has been a change.
