Nikitulia nitawapea.
@Field Marshal my have a taste of the experience. Kieni, kinale and kamae were meant for elephants, not people.
Zilikuwa zinafika Kimende bana. Unatoka Kwa Ng'ari Pub usiku wa manane ukitembea home hapo Bathi unashindwa, ara, why is that kahill moving? Una-squint in the moonlight unaona ni herd of elephants grazing in a neiba's shamba. Pombe inaisha kwa kichwa unatoka mbio mpaka highway unasmamia Limuru hapo karibu na factory ya Bata, 20 km away,...............ukiulizwa ni nini hauwezi eleza.......

By the way as @Aviator says, we Africans are born conservationists. We even grew attached to some of the elephants despite the fact that they devastated our crops. Jioni unaskia stories of sightings eti "zilikuwa zikiongoozwa na Kinono na yule bibi yake Kimatu (one with funny ears)"....

Nobody thought of killing the darn things..............
