I have been thinking.
what if the devil or satan is not physical but a manifestation of Evil, lust, The spirit of wickedness?

I mean think about it, Adam, Eve... The original sin.... Where did serpent come from in Garden planted and carefully ordained by the most holiest being himself. He would sense a misfit and crush it from miles away.
In the book of proverbs, it says that Mans ways are before the eyes of God. He watches him sin and gets bound by it. his own downfall because of free will .

You forget Genesis. It says that the being created all in the world including trees,animals,man and the earth itself...

So basically he created man knowing that he will be tempted by a woman,who he will have gotten out the man,who in turn will have been tempted by a snake which he created...

Confusing ain't it?

All that is dependent on whether you believe in that book that tells those stories...and I think you do. The idea of the devil is a foreign concept
