Too much of anything is poisonous, , do some research on the side effects of drinking too much water, God gave us a very intelligent body that alerts us when it needs hydration. trust your bodily signals
I agree to some extent. You don't want to take too much water. But an occasional sip even when you are not thirsty won't hurt. Come to think of it, Wacha nikunyue kidogo.

Nothing like dini hapa. Just want to push myself out of my comfort zone a little. Go an adventure. Test the limits of my endurance.

When you drink too much water, your kidneys can't get rid of the excess water. The sodium content of your blood becomes diluted. This is called hyponatremia and it can be life-threatening. listen to your body
 
Thanks for your input. Just a small question. Why should I eat at night when I least require that energy? Why not go for 24hrs or even 48hrs?
At dusk which is around 6pm. Eat at least 3 hours befor you sleep aupto around 7:30 PM.Also eat lightly ,nutritious but not too heavy.

Ikiwa shida ni spare tyre, just stick to IF; make sure umekula supper by 7:30pm alafu kesho yake avoid eating until 11am, but unaweza kunywa maji au black coffee/strungi ndubia. Hizi diet za maji pekee, sijui cabbage soup achana nazo, it can't be good for the body not to get the essential nutrients.

Sande Omwami. I'm already doing something about Kitambi. I'm on a well regulated diet and exercise. I'm making progress. As indicated above weight loss is not the main goal of my planned fasting.
