Water Fasting

I'm curious about how it affects ones body and mind. I have never tried it but I have some experience with intermittent fasting. I'm thinking of giving it a try soon.


For those who have done it, what is your experience? Did you excercise during the fast? How safe is it? For How many days should one fast? How should one prepare to fast?

Water fasting? You refrain from drinking water or what do you do with the water?

I follow the teachings of my prohet(pbuh) and laid out guidelines set in Islam. Fasting do it from dusk to dawn and thats the most benificial. This extreme 3 days fastinf sijui water fasting is not healthy. The human body needs nutrition, 3 days without proper nutrition and you can even affect your brain functions. Do it from dusk to dawn 2-3 times a week and you will get all the benifits asscociated with fasting. Remember everything in moderation,too much of anyrhing becomes poison.

Water fasting is where you only take water wadau. Fasting of any kind is beneficial to the body. From my experience most benefits are mental my mind became sharper, you need less sleep, enjoy even the boring tasks, etc.
That's more like it. With sleep, I actually want more. I want to spend all the time I use to eat sleeping ,😁😁😁.

Thanks for your input. Just a small question. Why should I eat at night when I least require that energy? Why not go for 24hrs or even 48hrs?

Try drinking a little more. Glass Moja Moja hapa na pale. Don't stress your organ by denying them water. You will need them in old age.

Too much of anything is poisonous, , do some research on the side effects of drinking too much water, God gave us a very intelligent body that alerts us when it needs hydration. trust your bodily signals
