May be you should first get her admitted so that the nurses can guide you on what extras might be required. Most of the extra items should be available in the vicinity. Pole.

Pole Shocks. QR to your mum.
Kijabe mission is a missionary hospital which has outlived its usefulness. It's high costs make it inaccessible to locals. Even the docs there prefer to have their kin treated elsewhere coz of the exorbitant costs. My bro in law (not the disabled one😁😁😁) works there and when my dad needed a knee surgery, the hospital gave a quote of 680k. The same was done at Tenwek for 350k by the same consultant who would have done it at Kijabe. It is however a good hospital in terms of quality of service.

You may want to establish the full costs beforehand unless you are ready for a shocker bill.

A young girl with an ectopic pregnancy, was charged 450K for a 4 days stay and surgery that was one week ago.

Ask for inpatient charges ie bed, meals, consultation fee. If these ones are high, seek alternatives. The rest of the charges ie procedures and therapy huwezi jua.

Very well. Wish you all the best.
I think best thing is to let the nurses tell you what to buy for mum. Should be the basics- basin, slippers, masks, water, soap, etc.

May the hands that heals touch Her.
Alafu that area is cold so I think it would help to have some clothing to help keep her warm.

You'll need a good towel, that thing they sell there is more of a rug. We carried warm clothes, snacks kiasi, plate, cup, spoon, table knife
What we forgot was a power bank and warm socks.
