Mwalimu hii kitu unapambana nayo lakini haukukanyanga nyasi ulipoipata shambani mwako.

Also this battle you wage is ill adviced for you blatantly refuse to accept the medicinal, financial, environmental, religious, psychological and many other benefits of this herb.

Your objections to it are probably based on outdated and debunked myths around cannabis sativa.

I have zero views as far as people taking drugs go, however I view the use and abuse of such as a form of escapism.

We can blame drugs all we want, but provided people live in deplorable conditions this vice will not depart.

This approach that straight laced people take of preaching from the pulpit, unfortunately realizes an opposite outcome of the individual further delving into said vice.

Weed was here long before any of us was born and it'll be here long after we are dust, live and let live.

Yes Sir, and it didn't take me well. That is why I got converted to the other side.

P/s I am proud of my podium evangelism coz it might just reinforce one person's resolve to stop.
Trust me I'm not playing the devil's advocate tonight, and I applaud your efforts.

It's difficult to get through to an addict, yet what else can we do and some are our own flesh and blood.

You can say that again. I have talked to quite a handful. I have been an addict myself. I don't want to talk about narcissism.
How do you approach an addict? how do you subdue the hopeless look so as to be able to reach the individual within?

Narcism plagues me as well.

They require patience. A lot of it because most are in denial and are very good at placing blame on others except themselves.
They do that a quite a lot, especially when they are properly hammered late into the night.

They open up and if one isn't careful, your underlying narcissistic tendencies may develop into a matyr like habit.
