The US Embassy in Nairobi in collaboration with Global Air Drone Academy (GADA) announces a call for applications to teach 25 Kenyan entrepreneurs how to use drone technology for business purposes. After a five-day virtual bootcamp and two-day in-person training, participants will pitch their business plans. The top three finalists will receive a scholarship to a Kenya Civil Aviation Authority-approved training course and business coaching to help launch their new business.

One the one hand, it's a good opportunity for the 25 kids, on the other, Kenyans had already done this for themselves a couple of years back only to be cockblocked by the government, await legislation for a whole two years, then be slapped with exorbitant licencing and flying fees. The rules are still in place now.

I can see how mzungu NGO can come to "teach" mothers in the village how to breastfeed with the type of leadership we have.
