We live in a global village. They could sell the materials to accessory and after market parts makers kule Taiwan, Thailand etc or even fabricate some hapa kenya.
Let's put this to paper.... The new Land Cruiser has a landed price of 20+M, the cost of equipment to scan + labour hours to compile and you think we can compete to sell that info to those that need it as fast as possible?

We can compete on price then. 3D scanners are available worldwide and scanning the parts isn't rocket science. You could even hire/lease the vehicle for 1 month and disassemble, scan, reassemble and return the vehicle. And FYI juzi I saw a thread on 3D printed houses.

You tear down a vehicle that you don't own? Are you just itching to be sued for destruction of property

Removing a few bolts to remove the parts for scanning, and then fastening the bolts to put the parts back in place sio kazi ngumu. A mechanic can do that in a flash. Just like removing a tyre, scanning it and bolting it back.

You're funny, you do realize there are parts used for destructive testing to get their data numbers that'll be used by 3rd party manf

In the 1940s during the world war 2, the Japanese captured a jeep vehicle from American troops hapo Philippines and shipped it to Japan and asked Mr Toyoda to make a replica/copy. And that is how the Toyota Land Cruiser was born. What if Mr Toyoda had given up like you have done regarding copying parts?
