The war in Ethiopia recently
The War in Ethiopia had a US-hand in it. First, the coziness between Eritrea and Ethiopia was not appreciated. Secondly, the new (not so new now) president vowed to nationalize all land; and third, the US is very keen to maintain some sort of control on the Red Sea trade routes (Bab el Mandeb Strait) for which China and recently Russia has started showing some keen interest. The US has many interests in the region - including their army base in Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. China also has recently set up a military base in the same country.

In the past conflict, the US was siding with the TPLF - inspite of them being the aggressors; and it's only after China and Iran started supplying the Ethiopian government with drones that the war took a turn. Just as is the case with Ukraine, there was a lot of media propaganda. At one time, we were made to believe that the TPLF was literally at the gates of Addis.

This makes a lot of sense. Something wasn't quite adding up.
It pisses me off when I buy their propaganda. You don't know what to believe anymore.
