TRUE ORIGINS OF EASTER:PART TWO

Source KJV 1611

Matthew 24:[4]And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Colossians 2:8]Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

3 DAYS (3 days & 3 nights)
Matthew 16:[21]From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Matthew 12:[40]For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

PUTTING OUR BELIEFS ON TRIAL: ARE THEY IN LINE WITH THE HOLY SCRIPTURES?
1 John 4:[1]Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Common belief: Christ died on Friday 3pm rose on sunday morning. Using CHRIST'S OWN TEACHINGS concerning His death & ressurection in the VERSES ABOVE, let's put this to the test.
friday evening to saturday evening= 1 day , saturday evening to sunday evening= 2 days, sunday evening to monday evening= 3 days,
THE SUNDAY MORNING RESSURECTION TESTED AND FOUND FAULTY.

SUNRISE to SUNSET= a day or daylight, SUNSET to SUNRISE = a night
friday evening to saturday morning=1 night, saturday morning to saturday evening=1day,
saturday evening to sunday morning=2 nights
sunday morning to sunday evening = 2 days, sunday evening to monday morning= 3 nights,
monday morning to monday evening= 3 days SUNDAY MORNING RESSURECTION TESTED AND STILL FOUND FAULTY.

HOW THEN DID OUR RELIGIOUS TEACHERS CONCLUDE THAT CHRIST DIED ON FRIDAY AND RESSURECTED ON SUNDAY, YET THE "3 DAYS" ( which is scriptural as in the verses above) MATH DOESN'T ADD UP?

Isaiah 29:13
[13]Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Mark 7:6-9
[6]He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
[7]Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
[8]For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
[9]And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

CONCLUSION

The early Christians kept the passover & unleavened bread as was shown in part one. They understood that Christ became the passover sacrifice as stated in Matthew 26 and thus He became the passover lamb. Therefore, they was no more need for a lamb sacrifice. The custom of Good Friday and Easter was introduced by Rome and as it occurred at the same time with the passover and the feast of unleavened bread, it was easier to merge their pagan feasts with the biblical feasts. Moreover in Matthew 26 the timeline of Christ's death was during the feast of the passover & unleavened bread.

We are deceived in large numbers because as explained by Christ himself in Mark 7:6-9, we worship God with our mouths and lips but inwardly (which is reflected outwardly by our actions) we reject His commandments (teachings) and follow choose to follow the teachings of men. Even though His word says something different we still choose to follow men's doctrines. God gave an instruction to keep the passover an feast of unleavened bread for 7 days (demonstrated a new by christ in matthews 26) but we reject it, call it old and such like and follow the world in their traditions.
