In every date I've gone to, I get the same repeated question - 'what do you look for in a partner?' and I'm tired of answering this question over and over, in short, they don't meet my expectations. I sometimes end up not meeting them again or just leave them at the table and go home, the behaviours I think I should stop from today henceforth.
Women, when you go for a date, please do some research, have some content and don't act as if you own the world. You're going to meet your future partner, not your parents or siblings. Have some cash with you in case you meet someone like me who'll get bored with your bossy character and leave you with our bills.
Before you go on a date, here's what most men want in a woman, someone they could proudly introduce to their friends and family;
1. A well-endowed woman
Believe it or not, your physical appearance is what we first see before anything else, and no man has the time to carry an x-ray machine to just come and view your inner body.
'Mwanamke tabia shepu ni majaliwa, ila wengi walinyimwa tabia na shepu ka jaliwa, says Sauti Sol, who I strongly disagree with. We can't see your tabia on our first date nor tenth date, all women change after 'wameolewa', that's not news.
Going for a date doesn't mean you'll end up with that person, as Mathew 19:11-12 states;
So go on that date open-minded and before you condemn me, being endowed is relative, even a petite lady is well endowed to some men.
2. An independent woman
Before you're nicknamed 'mama ombaomba' try and have something that generates income, no man is paid a salary for two, or earns a profit from his business and immediately labels it 'my wife's and I', men want a woman who'll help in chipping in, he doesn't have to be your husband, you can help your boyfriend or suiter pay bills at the restaurants.
Trust me he'll pay you in one way or another. Being financially independent makes you earn some respect from your man, he'll worship you.
3. A family-oriented woman
Men wouldn't want a woman who parties from Monday to Monday and is hardly at home. The honeymoon stage feds off and serious matters need to be placed into consideration. A man who is sane enough would like to have offsprings and heir. The main joy of a man is holding his child at one particular time in life, if you start bringing in issues of having a family then sis, tembea.
4. A woman with brains
Besides all the beauty, men want a woman who they can sit down with and a meaningful conversation. We can't be talking of alcohol from January to December, we expect you to contribute brilliant ideas on how we'll have future investments.
5. Cleanliness
A woman who cant maintain her personal hygiene and that of her environment is a complete turn-off, Try and shower at least twice a day, wash your clothes and inner wears thoroughly, ensure white remains white and not what we all have been witnessing during the bedroom actions.
6. A prayerful woman
We all can't be sinners, one of us has to be Godly enough and pray for the family. Whenever men are at the bar, pray for their safety. A prayerful woman can change a man and put the family together
If you don't have the above traits, especially the last five, try and adjust.
