Field Marshal
Elder Lister
When the British Army restricted ALL its soldiers in Kenya to the barracks, the Daily Mail attributed it to STDs. The British are conniving like that - they are manipulative little shits who speak from both sides of the mouth; never ever trust a beberu. The possible reason was that British intelligence had established that corona was semi-epidemic in Kenya as far back as 2 weeks ago. They probably had been briefed by, among others, by their own researchers working with Kemri, including from Wellcome Trust and the University of Oxford (their cover is that they do malaria and HIV research, but in reality they do much more, story for another day).
Soon after, the American Embassy in Nairobi - the biggest in the developing world - suspended all but its most crucial activities.
Soon after, the GK took what even the BBC has acknowledged are the most wide-ranging control measures for a country with a reported 3 - THREE - confirmed cases of Corona.
What do these people know that we the hoi polloi, don't?
Well, a little bird tells me that kitaeleweka in 10-20 days when the corona epidemic reaches the rural areas where the old mostly live, and crowded urban slums which are being seeded as we speak.
I only hope and pray that the god of Africans somehow bestows on us hata ka-immunity kidogo, so that our CFR (case fatality rate) is lets say below 1%.
I pray the little bird and I are wrong, but as you know from the days of Wanderi, I RARELY AM.
Meanwhile, this is Guka signing off. If you don't hear from this frequency again, let's meet across the river.
