It is common sense, known throughout ages, that you do not sleep with your Enemy. If your partner commits an act which you consider unforgivable and a“deal-breaker”, you don’t jump into bed with them for Coitus.
If you do so, Courts interpret it like you have forgiven each other and made up with that sex (makeup sex).
It is commonly known as the principle of Condonation, if you would want to research and read about it.

However, this principle is getting tested very strongly nowadays. Courts are increasingly opening up to the fact that if two grown up people do not want to remain in a union, one shouldn’t force them to do so. After all, what’s so special about having sex?

You shouldn't have to give a strong reason for divorce. As far as I'm concerned even 'I want out' is reason enough for me.
