You like documentaries? Then this list is for you.
Never had time for documentaries? Watch these ones and get hooked.
Got nothing to watch, here is something to keep you glued to the screen...
1. Unrest: Ever heard of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Myalgic Encephalomyelitis? Watch and learn. You won't forget it in a hurry.

2: The Barkley Marathons: The Race That Eats Its Young.
Based off of a famed prison break, The Barkley Marathons (the name of the documentary and the race) takes runners over a 20 mile course – 5 times! The rugged, rough, and steep terrain make the course downright miserable.

3: Searching For The Sugarman.
Amazing music, an ending with a twist, a once-in-a-lifetime story, and a really talented producer. What makes this story so amazing though is that Rodriguez(the protagonist) never knew he was a sensation…and his South Africans fans could never find him.

4: Fear of 13
A captivating, disturbing, and exciting documentary and it manages all of that while still featuring only one person through the entire film: Nick Yarris, a death row inmate who most famously petitioned the courts to follow through on his right to be executed within 60 days of his request.

5: The Omo Child
The unbelievable story of the Kara people, an African tribe who, for centuries, has murdered their own children to avoid an omen.

6: The Last Czars
From the notorious Rasputin to the well-hidden genetic condition of the heir to the throne, this historic documentary has shocking true plot twists around each and every turn.

7: Napolean Hill's Master Key
Technically a docu-series,it lays out exactly what you need to do to succeed...at anything.

8: The Mask We Live In
If you got a son,a nephew or a little boy in your life, then you are going to be glued to the screen for every scene.
NB: The story is told from an American point of view but some facts about bringing up boys are universal.

Big and How It Made are favourites in the house. Everybody watches them.

That number three reminds me of another one that caused havoc in SA and also here in the noughties. A song by Nick Holder - Summer Daze (a sampling of Pat Metheny's Slip Away). The guy just released an EP like DJs did, and he wasn't famous, but in SA it was a HIT!!
