The Wait Is Over...O Yee Of Little Faith

Christmas has come early for the doubting Thomases and those with agnostic tendencies as far as Covid 19 is concerned.

The incubation or, shall we say the gestation period, of the Kisumu Super-spreader is coming of age and all too real and vivid for all to see.

My biggest reservations about this turn of events, which Kenyans walked into with their eyes widely open, are who do we blame and what are we going to do to extract ourselves from the unfolding nightmare.
Should we blame the Politicians or should we pass the buck to the Wananchi who despite knowing that this was a breeding ground for Covid 19 thronged the grounds in song and dance?
Importantly and crucially, are there lessons that we have learnt for big battle ahead?

The wananchi.

It's always going to be your own fault if you attend a rally, demonstration or protest which you know had the potential to cause any harm to you. I don't feel sorry for people who get shot or clobbered by those gsu guys or trampled. Same goes for anyone who contracts covid at a rally. You left the safety of your house and voluntarily went there knowing there were risks. Take the responsibility.
