They are not required to import but rather purchase from Kenya pipeline
Well, buying can be a bit tricky if you are broke...and the person to sell you has a more lucrative ready market in UG and DRC...

I am not a Futurama fan .
So bei ikiongezwa, shortage itaisha immediately.
Ideally, things should start getting back to normal. Hakuna haja ya subsidy na oil marketers hawaipati in good time .It's bad for their cash flow and in turn, leads to so much time-wasting while watu wamepanga line for fuel. Hii kupanga line is as bad as being stuck in traffic.
Toa subsidy and let the market adjust accordingly.

I think he has been framed though. If they are hoarding, then the govt owned National Oil should have fuel. They are not happy operating at a loss.
There is something called Open Tender System that determines who imports the fuel.
National Oil is dead broke.

What`s the point of a fuel stabilization fund that takes money away only to refund it later and make oil marketers kneel, beg and almost lick booty wapewe what was taken from them? Si watoe hizi taxes 1000 wameweka kwa mafuta and spend less. This is dogomothistic thinking by Konyags
