The remains of Caleb Otieno, the man who perished in a boiler at Blue Nile Rolling Mills about two weeks ago, will be buried today in Kisumu.

his family will be given a monthly stipend of Shs 7,000 for five years as compensation by the company. This is a third of his net monthly salary of Sh21,000. He was employed on permanent terms and had worked for seven years for the Blue Nile Rolling Mills.

You didn't say that the company while offering the monthly stipend also advised the family to seek compensation thru the usual legal means. Company knows insurance will pay.
