What exactly do we want?
The thing about this Covid pandemic is that it has trivialized, enhanced, remodelled as well as stagnated a few areas of our lives.
This post is with regard to relationships. These have seen a total transformation. With more time to spend with family, there has been an increase in bonding as people got to discover aspects of their family members and celebrate them. However, this time spent together also led to aggravated abusive tendencies in dysfunctional families, to more complications in interactions within them.
This thus begs the question, what do human beings want?

We crave affection but when availed the opportunity, most become more callous than is humanly possible. We have heard of parents killing and abusing their own children and partners physically, psychologically and even sexually.
Yet home was supposed to be a safe haven until the pandemic faded.

So, I leave the question to you, as a rational thinker. What do we desire for our future generations? Are we doing or taking the right steps even amidst the pandemic and looming uncertainties, to ensure we nurture a hardy, well equipped people to exist in years to come?
Or are we chasing ideals, forgetting why we actually are in some friendships and relationships, that need nurturing as well?
That, is some hearty food for thought..Do send in questions and comments regarding the same.
Peace.
