The Bible, A Moral Guide

My perspective: Having read part of the African history including texts and perspectives on slavery and colonization, the hoax of christianity in majorly to blame for the atrocities committed on our forefather and foremothers. Christianity is premised on the need for the believer to accept every part of the bible, even those that are illogical or outright lies. There are however parts of the old books that are moral teachings on leadership and family. The new books, majorly the teachings of Jesus of Bethlehem record the unparalleled wisdom of a boy and later a man who probably lived ahead of his time. What if he wasn't killed in his youth, (forget the savior bluff) how much more wisdom would the man spew in his later years? Selective reading of the historical book is necessary for the advancement of wisdom

Religious people are selective of the Scriptures....and mainly concentrate on condemning others..... Believers on the other hand strive to be Christ-like.
