15 teachers from Mombasa County have tested positive for Covid-19 following random tests conducted by MoH in collaboration with Ministry of Education
4 are from Star of the Sea High School while 11 from Tononoka High School have tested positive for Coronavirus several days after schools reopened.
Form 4s and Grade 4 pupils reopened schools on October 12, after Education CS George Magoha gave a short notice.
Covid-19 case load in Kenya is now at 45,647 with the highest number of cases being 685 in the last two weeks.
The infection rate has risen ever since schools were re-opened and reports indicates that schools are struggling to follow the Covid-19 guidelines provided by Ministry of Health.
