Reminds me:-
1. Of the cosmolitan panpaper estate in webuye ( Luhyas, Luos, kiuks,Arabs, Somalis,etc).Friendship in the neighbourhood among children/ parents was real. You could sleep in any neighbourhood of your choice without asking for permission from your parents .Estate roads were tarmarked with active estate security lights in all the phases.We could escort our male/ female friends any time of the day/night to their homes.Same to our parents friends.
2. NY caps, Red bulls T shirts, Big shorts, baggy/flaired and bellybottomed trousers were striking. Not forgetting Jeans- Karl kani, Savco, Moschino, Vercase,FUBU, Gucci,
Wrangler,Levi etc. Leather sports shoes- Reebok, Fila, Nike etc, Zicco open shoe... Estate girls didn't resist us.
Child life was sweet. Je wakumbuka nini?.

True but mpya zilikua pia.
Lakini ikioshwa ing'are sawasawa halafu u blend it with dyed leather Reebok yako, na deodorant ya calvin clain, then you meet your neighbourhood friends for music/ movies, evening ilikua inaflow cooool.
