Some happenings in this republic are a reflection of the decadence to the moral fabric, 'uozo wa jamii' as the late professor Ali Mazrui wrote. DCI and other security organs are a favourite punching bag to the know it all netizens, but this time around AIG Gachomo has decided to let the cat out of the bag(forgive me for the use of clichés).

DCI officers have in most instances (secretly) exposed rot in many a public entity's but sadly they are only an investigative arm, the buck stops in other offices who are in most instances mired to parochial interests leading to sweeping under the rag.

Am I the only one who thinks the practice of hiring lawyers as judges was not thoroughly thought through? How does a lawyer manage the U-turn from defeating justice to defending justice? Perhaps we should consider recruiting the next batch of police officers from Kamiti prison.

Background checks on the lawyers should be taken seriously, but since the people tasked with the checking also have tainted hands, the results speak for themselves.

He came out after the he was requested by ODPP to dismiss the case without following due process. He can't accuse a judge without a watertight case.

So, you thinks it's right for a sitting judge to knowingly have or continue to have an intimate relationship with a criminal defendant. A defendant who is newly widowed and suspected of being a perpetrator in a brutal murder?
