A few decades ago, it was immeasurably embarrassing for an unmarried girl to get a child. When it happened, it would embarrass the entire clan. No more. Today it has almost become a rite of passage for girls.

By following the west, we have:
- taught our kids sexual liberation, exposing them to sexually explicit material from an early age
- removed the stigma from underage pregnancy
- buried the belief in morality and accountability to a higher being
- we have focused on empowerment of women/girls (which is good) but have neglected bringing up responsible and disciplined men

The result should not come as a surprise.

The next frontier now is abortion, to mask the symptoms of the problem, and forced indoctrination into LGBTQ. Both of these are current battlegrounds in the west, and if they succeed there, next will be to force these on Africans as 'human rights'.

Sometimes I wonder if Maghufuli was onto something when he said pregnant underage girls should not go back to school. On the surface it seems harsh, but thinking about it, it is the stigma of being an outcast that prevented girls/women giving birth to children outside marriage in our traditional culture, and men from similarly impregnating others apart from their wives
