Then Posts A Message on Facebook Threatening To Kill Himself Police in Ndeiya, Kiambu County, are investigating an incident where a 26-year-old man killed his wife under unclear circumstances. Reports indicate that the suspect, Samuel Mbugua, had travelled 52km to where his estranged wife, Faith Njambi lived, stabbed her and left her for dead. After the incident, the suspect fled the scene. Njambi would later crawl out of her room to the door, desperately looking for help. Neighbours noticed her and rushed her to a nearby healthy facility where she received treatment and later transferred to Nairobi Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment. Moments after committing the crime, it is alleged that Mbugua called Njambi's brother, Kamanu, asking to meet him in Nairobi. However, Kamanu declined the invitation since they had not been in good terms, following the troubled marriage between Mbugua and his sister. Later on, through his Facebook account, Mbugua threatened to commit suicide. The facebook post made the police to launch a manhunt for Mbugua who had switched off his phone. He was traced and arrested at his home.
