it took Senegalese coach, Aliou Cissé 8 years to win a trophy for his country. Senegal didn't sack him or make him resign, neither did they hire a foreign coach.
He was given all the time and support to coach and build a strong team that has now won the AFCON trophy .
To all African Countries hiring foreign coaches, Believe in your Own, trust, patience and support is needed to grow a nation..

Couldn't have put it any better. With all the frustrations of him as a player amidst the few highs, disappointment at the previous World Cup and even when the match jana night seemed to be another Groundhog Day where they play well but just come out short, he finally revelled at great victory.

Massive respect to him and for those who might still think that donning dreads means being unkempt and lazy, you still have some learning to do! (I've started growing mine once again thanks to working from home!)
