School opening in 2021

Due to the growing corona virus pandemic, and also putting in mind that schools are to open in January.On what basis will they open??...Is it taking the correct measures or waiting until the pandemic's curve flattens??
I suggest we should wait until the curve flattens... and you!?

I don't believe that by january the curve would have flatten given the rate of transmition as at now.
