School Is No Longer In Session

Supposing you were a director of a private school, and they burn down a dorm, would you go public? Private schools admit from the same society and then some more. Remember that some of those morons chased from public schools for bad behaviour end up in private schools. Morons are everywhere and they do burn private schools too. However, those are private businesses that avoid bad publicity at all costs.
Hapana ndugu yangu. Dorm sii kama fegi eti ikichomeka unanyoga unaweka kwa mfuko watu wasijue.

The students must ne listened to....and the principles are not military drill officers....most of those whose schools get burned lack proper leadership skills.

The founder of starehe once said that the problem is not usually the students but the school leadership...the days of governing a school with an iron fist are over

Tell me what has changed between our time and now to warrant all this arson.
I will tell you ni indiscipline.
No. Ni school and education management loosing sight of the important stuff. Watoto watafunga aje shule for just one week? Halafu there is that small matter of teachers involvement ndio wakamue wazazi ama community's involvement ndio watimue principal.

Teenagers have always had grievances with adults. Hata sisi, we were rebellious sometimes. However, we didn't express our grievances by torching school property. This is criminal behaviour. They could walk out or boycott classes but they crossed the civility line to become arsonists.

Criminally delinquent kids do not belong to ordinary schools. They should be rounded up and shipped to approved schools. Those that cause injury or loss of life should be locked up in juvenile prisons. Let's hold them accountable for their actions.

I disagree.
The kids are barely one week from midterm. So you can't say they are fatigued.
When midterm was announced, I said it sets a very bad precedent coz it was done as a result of arson happening in schools. We showed the kids that of they disobey, then the system will bend.
Where I schooled, the school set the rules. Pupil's work was to follow them to the letter.

And what is this that kids need to do for more than a 4-wk break in an year? It's not like they have jobs to do or biz to manage. Kazi Yao ni kusoma. Period.

You have put it very well.
You can't shield a criminal by calling him/her a schoolboy/girl.
