Sawa Deorro but its 2019.
So how can you remove bloatware from your phone wihout rooting? Or there is amgical non-root method in 2019?
Tell me any non root adblock method that is better than Adaway
How to do you overclock and underclock your CPU in 2019 without root?
Which non-root app is better at automation than tasker?
Any non root app that can backup your data locally better than TiBu?
Any Non root way for deep level customisation like changing boot Logo or system fonts?
Any non root alternative to Magisk and Xposed modules?
non root way of installing incompatible apps like Gcam?
better battery customization
Better audio with Viper
reprogram navigation buttons
nimechoka kutype.....

the reasons to root in 2019 are millions and endless. Root gives you total control over your phone and allows you to do literally anything with it. Just because you dont know how does not mean that it's a bad thing. So let those who root do so and for you who dont root continue not rooting.

My friend, rooting was done to overclock slow performing processors akina SD 400 series then but with SD 630+ in the market does anybody need to overclock their their CPu perfomance?? Bloatware back then covered a significant portion if storage for phones which space was typically 16GB with 128 GB in board do you have the need to root?? Dont get me wrong, I get it there are some tech enthusiasts who root for their own sake but in this case rooting is uncalled for, especially judging by the size of today's apps. And oh yeah, was one of them.who used to root

I rooted my phone just for kicks and got surprised that some apps like, safcom, airtel and banking apps will not run on rooted devices. So I reflashed the stock rom nikatulia

Be careful with samsung (touchwiz) devices. Soma details kwanza vizuri online na ujue exactly model, region, current rom iko kwa simu. Dont just watch one guide on youtube and jump in. Soma kiasi.

Personally I think I have also outgrown rooting. Rooting ni kama ni ya vijana. For the first time I have kept a new phone for 1yr bila root.

Is xposed still on? Kuna xposed ya Pie?

I have been rooting since Gingerbread days and at no time have I ever overclocked the soc. You, on the other hand, owned cubot phones till recently when you bought a proper Samsung phone, what rooting were you doing on a cubot phone that you cannot even find it's custom recovery online?

I have listed more than 10 reasons for having root, why are you only focusing on OC? Have you ever really rooted a phone or used a rooted device?

Let's talk about Bloatware. the definition of Bloatware is this here unless the owners of the language changed it

so if your phone comes with a browser, text app, dialer, health app or literally any app that you don't use then those apps are bloat. Doesn't matter if the storage is 500GB or 1TB, as long as you use an alternative then that is bloat that should be removed. The extra storage can store a selfie of you and your dog and the extra memory that is no longer used by their services will make your phone run smooth.

OP owns his device and if he wants to root then let him root and learn in the process, kama wewe unaogopa pia ni sawa. It is okay to be you

Sijui why you confuse rooting with Flashing custom roms, they are 2 different things. Custom Roms these days don't even come rooted, you have to root them yourself.

systemless Xposed with Magisk
or Xposed alternatives like:
Virtual Xposed - https://virtualxposed.com/
Tai Chi - https://taichi.cool/
Edxposed - https://github.com/ElderDrivers/EdXposed

I use the magisk option

I am not confusing anything, this is how I root... First unlock the bootloader, download a custom rom, download twrp for my device, download magiksk and and adb devices.
Then transfer the Rom and magicsk to the phone storage, put the phone in fastboot and open command in the adb folder.
Flash the recovery, wipe to factory
Flash the recovery
Flash magiksk,
Confusing?

Samsung/Touchwiz is a wierd one to root.

I have posted this somewhere before but you can have a look:

LONG READ

Touchwiz Roms used to be easy to root those days of Gingerbread and Jellybean for those of you who were alive then.

With things like RMM, Encryption, etc, all this stuff has become a bit of a headache for noobies like me. So to avoid nasty experiences I thought to leave a small guide here for those who may be wanting to root and customize their phones. You ever go into download/odin mode and you see things like "rmm prenormal" and "only stock roms allowed"?

These steps are typical for S and A series of Samsung phones. I suspect J series are the same. But twrps and rooting files may vary from model to model so make sure the files you use are acceptable for your model and build.

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for your bricked phone or lost data. If you have never rooted before, you may want to do a bit of research before going on.

Here we go:

1. take your phone and back up your data
2. grab a copy of stock firmware and put it somewhere safely in your computer
you may need it to flash back to stock in case something happens
3. on your phone go to settings
go to about phone
4. go to build number
tap seven times to enable developer options
5. go to developer options
6. find unlock oem and unlock it
7. enable usb debugging

[Now please listen to this:
If you DO NOT see the oem unlock option, your phone is on RMM prenormal
It will take 168 hours for it to reset and to see this option. Sorry.
Wait till uptime of 168 hours elapses without booting your phone or swapping sim card(s)
You can check uptime at the phone settings under about phone>status
OK... 168 hours up already? go to unlock oem and do it.]

8. ***Please put these files on your phone external sd card:
a)super su (or magisk). whichever you prefer for rooting
b)dm verity
c)rmm state bypass by Mesa
please.
9. ***Please make sure you have YOUR phone model drivers, odin and twrp on your computer

Ready?
10. switch off your phone.
11. put it in download mode (odin mode) by pressing power at prompt vol- then vol+
start odin and untick auto reboot. please.
12. connect to computer
13. once phone connected on odin, put twrp on AP and flash.
***make sure auto reboot is unchecked on odin
14. once you see success disconnect phone and hold phone in your hands
press power and vol-
15. the screen will go off and immediately, immediately, i mean immediately
move the finger from vol- to vol+ while keeping your finger on power button
16. wait till you see twrp
good
17. release power and vol+ buttons
good job
18. now swipe to allow modification
19. tap format data. all your data is now gone, including all your nice selfies: had you backed up?
too bad. heheheeeee
20. after format, tap format data again, just to be sure. please
21. now check data is mountable. please.
22. now using twrp flash the files on your sd card in this order
a)magisk (or superuser)
b)flash dm verity
c)flash rmm state bypass by mesa
This needs to be done in the same session
22. Restart the phone and wait for it taking forever to boot (the flashes are installing)

Away from rooting to remove bloatware and other reasons, technology will beat crime, its will soon become useless to steal a phone Coz
1.it cannt be flashed, my Naomi requires the lock screen pattern to decrypt in twrp mode. The only option is to flash thro fastboot mode. I have not come across a custom rom fastboot flash.
2. If you install rom thro fastboot, you require cloud password to set up the phone before it even detects the aim cards.
3. Apps especially banking and telecommunications apps are not running on rooted devices.

I was right about you confusing the terms. That is not how to root a phone.
To root you do this:
1. Unlock Bootloader(if not locked)
2. Flash custom recovery(most probably TWRP)
3. Boot into TWRP
4. Flash Magisk
5. Reboot and you have a rooted phone.

In what step have you seen a custom ROM flashed?
You can root either the stock ROM or root a custom ROM.

to flash a custom rom
1. unlock BL(if locked)
2. Flash a custom recovery (if non exists)
3. Boot into the recovery and flash the rom
4. Reboot and enjoy your device

Android uses the Linux kernel. On Linux, the root user is equivalent to the Administrator user on Windows. The root user has access to the entire operating system and can do anything. By default Android, OEMs disable superuser permission for the user. Rooting is simply adding the superuser function that was removed to allow you to do anything to the OS. Magisk, SuperSU simply add that functionality

Custom ROM is simply a modified version of android, anything that is not AOSP including those OneUI from Samsung, MIUI from Xiaomi are just custom ROMs like those created by guys on XDA. The only difference is that OEMs have an army of developers plus also pay for certification. It's just like those Linux distributions eg Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Manjaro et al. Just the same concept

You can root the stock ROM that comes with the device or Root a custom ROM that you have just flashed.
