These EVs are a black box, the hardware and software is proprietary and few people know how it works, that's the last thing i would want when stuck in the middle of the wilderness, i feel like we are losing a lot of knowledge and expertise by allowing companies to obscure technology. Also if the company falls, which happens these things will become junk.

If you go for the Chinese Japanese stuff I think they’re fair with their EV.
In my opinion after studying the process ,EVs aren’t the solution they have tried selling us

Proprietary assets are normally sold to another firm that continues making parts and servicing the cars. Airforce 1 ya Kenya is such a case, fokker folded but planes are still serviced and parts continue to be manufactured
