Kenyan woman Njoki Muchemi Stanton together with her two daughters has been killed in the US by her husband who also took his own life.

49 year old Njoki Muchemi was found dead next to her husband, 60 year old Gary Stanton, together with her daughter 17-year-old Andrianna Stanton and 11-year-old Brianna Stanton.

The deaths are being treated as domestic murder-suicide.

Saw on twitter this being a hypothesis. And even if it's true, that's such a cowardly act. Mental health issues maybe.

Until one is in a similar situation, it is easy to put it down to mental health. Sometimes anger and disillusionment does crazy things to people.

All we're doing is speculating. What sucks is that he took away two innocent kids. Maybe he theorised that it's better for them to go instead of growing up as orphans.. But still.

It was speculation. I am not suggesting that was the reason. It is impossible to rationalize the deaths. Just one of those things that happen.

@Denis Young , crazy thing is, that's the first thing that came to my mind. Kwanza the first kid looks like an oga from deep Delta State. The second is obviously the man's kid.

In my view, the DNA theory is reinforced by the fact that the man shot matha and first dauta about 6 times each, but the younger gal only once. His anger was with the two.

Of course it's sad that lives were lost, especially of the gals.

But @mzeiya, you are a young parent. Sooner or later you will realize that raising a child is a commitment like no other. You'll skip holidays, lunch, haircuts, that World Cup final, etc to provide for them. You'll drive 300kms to attend their Parents Day and sell your beloved bike to pay their school fees.

Then you go for a random blood check and realize that the brats are not even yours. You were being lied to all along!

Very few men will remain sane after that...

I was not even aware of the gory details. Damn. I wouldn't wish this scenario on any man. The crazy thing is that women know it is not your child, but will make you raise the child. Sad.
