My educated guess is that Uhuru needs Kabogo. Kabogo was part of the team that negotiated power with Ruto in 2013 and 2017. He was on TNA's side wakigawana mamlaka na ministries. The only reason Uhuru would need Kabogo again is to initiate negotiations with Ruto. He can't use Murathe for that task so that leaves Kabogo as the only insider who can initiate negotiations with Ruto. Unlike Murathe, Kabogo has not antagonized Ruto so he is not likely to face hostility from that camp.
